    Gerald to the Rescue

In normal times, Gerald Broddelez spends his days (and quite a few nights) venturing out to faraway places to find exotic birds and animals. Today we find him much closer to home, and venturing in. Into the VOC Wildlife Rescue Center, where volunteers go to incredible lengths to save every living being that comes their way, from adorable to magnificent. Because, after all, caring about wild creatures begins at home.

Gerald would like to thank the Wildlife Rescue Centre where he filmed this project. As a nonprofit, they rely on generous donations to rehabilitate wildlife so they can be released back into nature. To learn more about their work, please follow them on Facebook or visit the VOC Merelbeke website and consider contributing to their important work.

Thanks for sharing The number of animals and the different ones that are rescued are amazing. We have Barred owls that nest nearby and they’re fun to watch. We live next to a forest. This year three fox kits popped up in our garden. Take care and let us know what’s happening.
